On January 9, Rick Miller told CNN that he was visiting a friend’s house in Altadena, California, which was impacted by the wildfires, when he noticed a stray dog that was hurt and in need of assistance across the street.
As soon as he and his buddies found out how to get the dog out of the debris and to safety, Miller acted quickly, covering the dog with a blanket for comfort. The dog had brown eyes and light-colored fur.
Miller started crying as he told CNN, “It’s about taking care of each other and like everyone needs help right now.” “I apologize for the tears, but it’s very upsetting to watch my friends lose their homes and people lose their pets, so we try to support one another.”
