The 58-year-old singer of “Wagon Wheel” announced that he had relocated to London after a string of Instagram photos hinting at a significant life update. The Grammy-winning country music artist, who is originally from South Carolina and has lived in Nashville and Charleston, is making a significant move to her new residence.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, January 30, Rucker was thrilled to share the news of his new home and some forthcoming concerts he has there, but he did not specify whether he will still have a presence in the United States, where his three children presently reside.
“I have to perform in the UK after moving to London! Have your tickets arrived yet? He posted a couple pictures of himself on stage along with the message, “Limited VIP packages still available.” “See you soon!”

Following several Instagram postings hinting at his impending move, the leader of Hootie and the Blowfish made his announcement.
He posted a picture of himself on Tuesday, January 21, bundled up in a park while walking his two dogs. He then posted another picture of what looked to be the skyline of London. Some of his fans said they recognized the well-known landscape in the comments section.
One person questioned, “Walking in Hyde Park????” Another person speculated, “Looks like you are in London.”
