The 33-year-old Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star opened up about her baby girl, whom she welcomed on December 28, 2024, with lover Ken Urker, in an Instagram Stories post on Monday, February 17.
“With every kiss with every lullaby with every cuddle, l heal my inner child,” the message started. “I’m slowly starting to finally heal the wounds of a bloodline I didn’t ask for, through the eyes of a child I was blessed wit.”
As a victim of Munchausen by proxy, Blanchard could not explain why she posted, although she had already served eight years in jail for her involvement in the 2015 murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who had forced her daughter to endure years of excruciating medical treatments that she did not require.
In July 2016, Blanchard received a 10-year prison sentence, and in September 2023, he was released on parole. On December 28, 2023, precisely one year prior to the birth of her first child, she was later freed from the Chillicothe Correctional Center.
