George Clooney claims that despite his desperate attempts to flee Kentucky farm life, he ended up on a tractor at home in France
‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ will be the acclaimed actor’s Broadway debut in less than a month.
George Clooney is going back to his country roots.
Clooney said in a recent interview with The New York Times, “Growing up in Kentucky, all I wanted to do was get away from a farm, get away from that life,”
The actor, his wife Amal, and their twins, Ella and seven-year-old Alexander, live in a French country home decades later. “Now I find myself back in that life,” he discloses ironically. Adding, “It’s the best chance at a normal life,” I operate a tractor and do other things.
Clooney owns a villa on Lake Como in Italy, an estate in England, and another property near his family in Kentucky in addition to his family house in France.
Clooney is one of several actors who have chosen to live a country lifestyle. He will make his Broadway debut in “Good Night, and Good Luck” in March.
