One year after coming out as transgender in the world Thomas Author got hitched to a lady
On this week’s Broad Ideas broadcast of Leah Bilson’s show, Tom Author announced their marriage.
The lead actress for her part in 13 Reasons Who did not reveal the name of her spouse, but she did state that she intends to wed a woman.
Tommy revealed that her fiancée is a cisgender woman and also that, following the divorce from her former Michael Zurkuhlen in March, she started to consider her inclinations for women.
Tommy said, “I realized I was interested in ladies in a manner that I really have not been conscious of that since junior high. I had this unanswered, unresearched issue.
Tom and Peter got hitched in April 2016 after becoming married in October 2015. Peter formally filed for a divorce in February 2022 after they divorced in 2021.
Following the breakup, Tommy started experimenting with dating women. She recalled, “I was like,
‘This is the year that I’m going to go on a few dates with girls really feel it out once more and not be bad about it.'”
She made the decision to retain her forename when She transition because it was bestowed to her as a memorial to an uncle who
passed away shortly after she was born. He did, though, clarify that after the change, she will use the pronouns mother.
