Peter Kurland, a fellow of the Academy will retire as a result of the Oscars broadcast dispute

questionable move not to telecast seven categories live during in the Oscars telecast, which include video editing, incidental music, and best music.
Kurland tells The Hollywood Insider, “I can’t envision a reason for sticking in an institution that no longer respects my profession.”
“I attempted to quit today, but got an email requesting me to wait till next week.”
The televised suggested, Kurland will become the 2 famous academy presidents to resign.
