He collapsed onstage during a performance on Wednesday, June 5. The “Maybe in Heaven” singer was singing at the Pine Hill Musical Theater in Eaton, Pennsylvania,
when emergency personnel stepped on stage at 10:30 p.m, as per WDIV-TV. According to Rupa Raj of Fox 2 Michigan, the crowd was “supposed to pray for them due to a serious health condition.”

The musician apparently dropped out 1 hour into his concert but was quickly healed and taken offstage while saluting his audience.
He collapsed while singing a song he penned with country singer Chris Sullivan. According to Variety, Carlos was shrouded by a black

sheet while being treated by medical workers before even being escorted to McLaren Clarkston’s local nearest hospital.
As per his adviser, Peter Vrionis, he is “performing better” while still being monitored at the hospital.
His Friday evening concert is half of his summertime Magnificent Astonishing 2021 trip with Life, Winds & Fire. The tour started in June and is scheduled to go until July,

after which he could allegedly continue his residency at the Hall of Blues in Las Vegas. During the 1960s and 1970s, his stone style grew to popularity with legendary,
innovative classics like “Black Magic Woman” and “Wicked Deeds,” among many others.

He is regarded as a prodigy of his craft, having received ten Grammys as well as three Latino Grammys.
His work lasted years, culminating in 1998 with an eight-haul for Paranormal. He had only been elected into the Rock and Songwriters Hall of Fame a year before.
