Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile provide an update on their relationship, stating that marriage doesn’t have to be that serious

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile are sharing their finest marriage tips.
The pair recently spoke with PEOPLE about their experiences since getting married in 2022. According to Pitt, their love is still running strong even though “nothing really changed” when they got married.
Amabile, 38, remarks, “Married life is great,” while Pitt, 27, adds, “It’s pretty easy, which I think is a good sign.”
“We were already living together and we don’t have a kid,” she says. “It’s fun!”Pitt says they don’t overthink things when asked what their best advice is for keeping a great relationship going.
After a year of marriage, she says, “I can’t speak to 20 years of marriage, but I just think having fun.” “It need not be that serious. Enjoy each other. Have fun and cherish your relationship.
In addition to acknowledging that they should “perhaps have a will” and signing certain documents, Pitt says she would have been worried if marriage had significantly altered their relationship dynamic.
She says, “The hope is that things remain as simple and easy as they were before you got married.” “And they have, which is fantastic.”Amabile attributes this easiness to effective communication, stating that suppressing feelings will only result in bitterness and “unhappiness a few years later.”
