The 65-year-old star of the movie “Casino” is considered one of the sex symbols of Hollywood. At the beginning of her career, Sharon wore long blond curls, but over time she wanted to part with them. For many years, the artist wears a short haircut.
Stone explained the reason for the change of image. The Golden Globe winner said she didn’t want to be pressured to meet beauty standards. She felt less of a compulsion to give up her long locks than if she had continued to grow them out.
“I cut my hair permanently and then lost it when I started painting. I think it was because of constant anxiety. This is an eternal feeling of rejection that society imposes on us, in a certain way, by treating women: in fact, there is only room for one in the world, ”Stone said.
According to the Hollywood star, insulting words about height, figure, hair color, skin color and mental abilities can serve as an example. Sharon assured that this approach “isolates women”, preventing them from getting to know and accept each other, as well as becoming friends.
