Slam video! Trump White House reacts to Selena Gomez’s tears over deportations
The White House added remarks from women whose children were reportedly murdered by undocumented individuals to snippets of Gomez’s heartbreaking video.

On Friday, January 31, the administration of President Donald Trump released a response to Selena Gomez’s recent Instagram post in which she expressed her outrage about the crackdown on deportations of undocumented immigrants.
The video, which was posted on the official White House Instagram and X pages, included criticism of Gomez, 32, from three moms whose children were reportedly murdered by undocumented individuals. “Moms of Victims of Illegal Aliens SLAM” is the title of the video. Selena Gomez: You Didn’t Cry for Our Daughters,” which featured Gomez’s tears intercut with the women’s remarks.

The women were described in the video’s title as “courageous mothers.”
In the White House video, Alexis Nungaray states, “Being an actress, it’s hard to believe that it’s actually genuine and real.” “I’m overjoyed that Trump won. Although the video doesn’t name a law, Tammy Nobles later states, “I’m so glad that this is one of the first bills to help with immigration.” Patty Morin continues, “I just think it’s a ploy to mislead people and to get sympathy for lawlessness.”

In June 2024, Jocelyn, Nungaray’s 12-year-old daughter, was murdered in Houston. The 20-year-old daughter of Nobles, Kayla Hamilton, was murdered in Maryland in 2022, while the 37-year-old daughter of Morin was murdered in 2023.
