When a trucker in Namibia checked his tires, he discovered an abandoned baby aardvark curled up in one of them.
When a truck driver went to inspect his vehicle’s tires before going to work, he was surprised to discover a peculiar small creature wrapped around one of the big tires.

The driver was taken aback when he realized the surprise visitor was a young aardvark. The motorist’s first thought was to hunt for the small creature’s mother, but she was nowhere to be found. The trucker hurried to assist the newborn aardvark, carefully picking him up and loading him into his vehicle.

When they arrived to his business, the driver requested assistance from Dr. Erika, a local veterinarian who also served at YURI Orphanage. When they arrived to his business, the driver requested assistance from Dr. Erika, a local veterinarian who also served at YURI Orphanage. E.T. was around three months old at the time, and he was quite inquisitive and happy. E.T. rapidly adapted to his new life, befriending two shelter dogs named Spoke and Sarah, who assisted him in overcoming his loss.

Dogs treated E.T. as if he were a puppy. They enjoyed playing with him and caring for him. E.T. also enjoyed spending time with the two dogs, eating meals with them in much the same bed. He appears to believe he is a dog. E.T. was ready to be reintroduced into the wild after 5 months of recuperation. He returned every day, though, to visit his beloved caretakers and companions.
