When John Krasinski learned that he would be named PEOPLE’s 2024 S exiest Man Alive, he wasn’t quite sure what to think.

Actress Emily Blunt, 41, his wife of 14 years, and their daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, now reside in Brooklyn. Krasinski claims that Blunt was “very excited” to hear the momentous news: “There was a lot of joy involved in me telling her.”
The actress has even joked that if her husband won the crown, she would use the cover as wallpaper in their home.
