After sharing a picture of herself from last summer, Sarah Michelle Gellar got in a little bit of trouble and said oops
The actress unintentionally revealed that the reboot had started filming while she was visiting her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. on the set of his latest film.

There was a lot of conjecture on the relaunch after the actress shared a picture from the I Know What You Did Last Summer set on November 27. Gellar told Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on the December 10 broadcast of Live With Kelly and Mark that she “got in a bit of trouble” for the post.
The original I Know What You Did Last Summer set is where Gellar, 47, and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., 48, first met. Gellar’s Helen Shivers was killed in the 1997 slasher, but Prinze’s Ray Bronson lived.
Fans were given hope that Gellar’s beauty queen persona might return to the franchise when she shared a picture of the director’s chair with the film’s title printed on the back.
“Coming from the soap opera world, I was like, ‘she lives!'” remarked Ripa.
Gellar revealed that she traveled to see Prinze with their kids for Thanksgiving because he was starring in the movie and it was being filmed in Australia.”I thought the back of the director’s chair would make a nice photo when I saw it on set,” she added.
“Then I found out that they hadn’t posted any pictures from the set yet — hadn’t announced they started filming,” she continued. Indeed, that was a ‘Oops!’ “I’m sorry!”
