Amber Heard is thrilled for herself and Oonagh Paige to be expecting her second child
The ‘Aquaman’ actress is already a mother to Oonagh Paige, a daughter who is 3½ years old.
Amber Heard’s family is growing.
PEOPLE can confirm exclusively that the 38-year-old Aquaman actress is expecting her second child. “You will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage because it is still quite early in the pregnancy,” a Heard representative adds. Let’s just say that Amber is thrilled for Oonagh Paige as well as herself.
Oonagh Paige, Heard’s 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter, was born on April 8, 2021. Heard said on Instagram that she had “decided I wanted to have a child” four years earlier and “wanted to do it on my own terms” when she announced the news of Oonagh three months after her birth.
“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she said at the time. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
Heard has since posted updates on Oonagh and parenting on occasion, referring to herself as a “multitasking mama” and “just the mom and the dad.”
In the summer of 2022, Heard and Johnny Depp, her former spouse, were involved in a highly known and controversial slander trial in Virginia.
