Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo join Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for a wicked night out at a musical screening

The ‘Wicked’ adaption starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo is already the sixth highest-grossing film of 2024 at the domestic box office.

It’s the autumn box office phenomena that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are experiencing!

Reynolds, 48, and his wife Lively, 37, posed for pictures with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the film’s lead performers, at a special showing of Wicked: Part One at Metrograph in New York City on Tuesday, December 3.

The couple stood between Wicked stars Erivo, 37, and Grande, 31. Lively wore a white suit jacket over a white shirt and light-washed blue jeans to the screening, complete with red shoes that looked like Dorothy’s ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz. Reynolds chose to wear all-beige.

At the box office, the encounter was a huge success for the four of them. Less than two weeks after its Nov. 22 release, Wicked has already risen to the No. 6 position, while Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine is the second highest-grossing movie of 2024 in North America.

The Colleen Hoover romance novel adaption It Ends with Us, which Lively produced and featured in, is another among this year’s successful film releases; as of Wednesday, December 4, it was ranked No. 13 in the domestic box office rankings for 2024.

Since they concluded marketing each of their summer smashes, Reynolds and Lively, who have four children under ten, have maintained a low profile.
