After two years of marriage, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August, and this year is her first Thanksgiving since then.
This Thanksgiving, Jennifer Lopez is thankful for her fans.
The 55-year-old singer and actress stood with a big turkey in the kitchen for a Thanksgiving photo posted on Instagram early on Friday, Nov. 29. She was smiling and not looking at the camera.
Lopez sported a floral-embroidered sweater, bold earrings, and a high ponytail in the picture.
“I hope Thanksgiving was lovely and joyous for everyone. I am very thankful for each and every one of you.This year is Lopez’s first Thanksgiving since she and 52-year-old Ben Affleck filed for divorce in August following two years of marriage.
Their split date was April 26, 2024, according to the paperwork.
At The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, Affleck and his 52-year-old ex-wife Jennifer Garner were seen working and delivering food to the homeless population in Los Angeles.
A holiday feast and live entertainment are part of the non-profit organization’s annual Thanksgiving celebration, which “hosts a celebration for thousands of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Skid Row,” according to the website.
Regarding Affleck and Garner’s outing, a source told PEOPLE, “They genuinely enjoy giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together as a family.”
