At the Carol Service, Kate Middleton discloses a secret that Prince Louis was bursting to tell Princess Charlotte

The Princess of Wales made a joke about how “quite good for a six-year-old” her youngest son was at keeping secrets.

Kate Middleton claims that her son Prince Louis’s sister, Princess Charlotte, somehow kept her together a secret at the Christmas carol service.

At Westminster Abbey in London, Princess Kate staged her fourth annual Together at Christmas performance on December 6. The event drew 1,600 attendees for an evening of fun and celebration centered around the concepts of empathy and love.

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales disclosed in an interview with artist Paloma Faith behind the scenes that her 6-year-old youngest son, Prince Louis, complied with her prior request to keep the ballet performance in the service a secret from Princess Charlotte, “who loves her ballet dancing.”

Kate Mansey of The Times posted a video to X in which the Princess of Wales clarified that “Louis heard me talk about the dancers over tea.”

“Ballet dancers?” Princess Kate interrupted Faith, saying, “Ballet dancers, exactly.””Louis, can you keep a secret?” I asked. Charlotte loves her ballet dancing, therefore I want it to be a surprise for her. “I won’t say anything,” he replied. And he hasn’t revealed anything for, say, two weeks? Very impressive for a six-year-old. Princess Kate grinned as she stood with Faith, Olivia Dean, and Gregory Porter, who were performing together at Christmas.
