The actress shared a vintage image of herself and Ed Helms, who costarred with her in Family Switch, wearing identical candy-cane ensembles on the set of the 2023 Christmas movie on Sunday, December 15.
Garner, 52, and Helms, 50, posed indoors in the Instagram Stories photo. Helms was wearing a red-and-white strapless dress with diagonal stripes and a big red bow at the waist, along with sparkling red Mary Jane pumps.
The actress accessorized her festive outfit with a red-and-white bauble headband boasting more candy-cane sticks perched on top, and a pair of white drop earrings. She sported red lipstick and matching nails
Helms, on the other hand, made a statement by donning a huge candy-cane hat, a red-and-white striped waistcoat that matched Garner’s outfit and headpiece, a white shirt with a red bow tie, and red leggings with red and white sneakers.
Helms and Family Switch costume designer Susie DeSanto, who has collaborated with the actress on a number of other films, such as 13 Going on 30 and Yes Day, was tagged by Garner in the amusing holiday picture.
While her husband (Helms) switches bodies with their kid (Brady Noon, of Good Boys fame), Garner portrays a mother who switches bodies with her teenage daughter (Emma Myers from Wednesday) in the Netflix holiday film.
Garner shared a video of herself in the same costume on TikTok, and now she has another image showing off her festive attire from the movie.
