Cynthia Erivo responds to Dax Shepard’s question about if her talon nails obstruct her ability to wipe like a boss
The ‘Wicked’ star stated, “The fact is that some people need to check how they’re wiping because they don’t have nails.”
According to Cynthia Erivo, her talon nails don’t interfere with her ability to perform her restroom chores.
When Erivo, 37, appeared on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman to talk about Wicked, Shepard asked her if it was hard to wipe her behind after using the restroom because of her long talon nails. The Oscar nominee knew exactly what was going to happen before Shepard, 49, had even completed the inquiry.
She remarked, “I knew you would ask that question,” and that “no one’s afraid” to do so.
Erivo went on, “My response is that no one wipes their ass with just their fingers.” “I take it you utilize tissue?
Then Shepard changed his query. He rambled, “Does the tissue go on the tip of the fingernails, or do you try to get the tissue?” “Finger pads,” Erivo remarked.
Shepard remarked, “Great, great, great, we’re getting somewhere now.” “So sometimes you just feel the tiny tickle of the nails on the crack of your butt?”
Erivo claimed that since she uses tissues, this was untrue.
Shepard joked that if he had nails like Erivo, he would construct a mitten out of toilet paper. He then asked her if the remark upset or offended her.
