During the Olympic opening ceremony, Celine Dion’s comeback leaves fans in tears

With her most recent return at the Olympics Opening Ceremony, Celine Dion moved the crowd to tears.

Trust us when we tell that this one calls for tissues. The 56-year-old revealed her devastating medical news to fans back in 2022, saying, “I wasn’t ready to say anything before but I’m ready. It has recently been determined that I have stiff-person syndrome, a one in a million neurolog”

ical condition.” Stiff person syndrome, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine, is an uncommon autoimmune neurological condition that typically

results in painful spasms and muscle stiffness that can get worse with time. Double vision and slurred speech are examples of other symptoms.

After receiving her diagnosis, the Canadian singer mostly avoided the spotlight; but, early this year, she participated in the Prime Video documentary I Am: Celine Dion to provide fans with a more intimate look at her life with the condition.

Her cancellation of her Courage World Tour was termed as “hard” by her. “Every day, I put in a lot of effort at work. However, I must say that it has been difficult,” she continued.

“It’s everything, the people, I miss them so much. I’ll walk if I’m not able to run. I’ll crawl if I’m unable to walk. “I refuse to give up,” she wrote in a private letter to her fans. And she carried out that exact action.
