A health update regarding his vision is being shared by Elton John.
In an interview with Good Morning America on Monday, November 25, the 77-year-old singer-songwriter said that he had lost vision in his right eye in July. He claimed that an eye infection he got during the summer in the south of France was the cause of his vision loss.
“I can’t see anything, and it kind of floored me.” “I am unable to read or watch anything,” he clarified.In response to a question concerning his next album, John stated that it had “been a while since I’ve done anything.”
“There’s hope and encouragement that it will be okay, but I’m kind of stuck at the moment … going into the studio and recording, I don’t know,” he stated.
According to the artist, he has been unable to read songs or watch anything since his “left eye’s not the greatest,” but he is “taking the initiative to try and get it better.”The Grammy winner revealed that he suffered an illness in September in an Instagram post, stating that he had “only limited vision in one eye.”
The “Rocket Man” singer said, “I am healing, but it’s an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye.”
