In a charming video posted on Instagram on Saturday, November 30, the couple revealed that Eddie Murphy’s son, Eric Murphy, had proposed to Martin’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, on Wednesday, November 27.
The engagement video, which is set to Eric Benét’s “Spend My Life with You,” starts by demonstrating how Eric set up a room with candles and rose bouquets, as well as covering the floor with flower petals. It then cuts to Jasmin’s surprise when she first enters the arrangement.
Jasmine exclaims, “It’s beautiful,” as Eric then drops to one knee and opens the ring box. “Oh my gosh,” she said, before saying “yes” and kissing her voice actor partner.
