When the actor toured the remains of his house after the Palisades Fire, he became tearful.
During the devastating L.A. fires, soap star Eric Braeden lost his home in the Pacific Palisades that he had lived in for more than 45 years.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Friday, January 10, the 83-year-old star of Young and the Restless, who posted on Instagram on Wednesday, January 8, that he was fleeing home, saw its remains.
The actor became very distressed and started crying as he stated, “45 years, man,” after approaching the house and seeing it completely destroyed by fire. Man, I never imagined it would hit me so hard.”Dude, I’m devastated. I am heartbroken. Every memory. He said, “I don’t want my family to see this,” as he examined.
“You’ve undoubtedly seen a lot of coverage on TV in recent days, boy, and I never thought this would happen. This is not what I anticipated.
He shared some of his homely recollections, such as entertaining up to 250 people, and then he said he understood what other people going through similar things were going through.
“It’s such a feeling of loss, man,” Braeden remarked. “It’s beyond description. You become completely confused as a result.Braeden admitted that he and his wife packed right up until the last minute when asked what they brought with them during their evacuation.
