Mariah Carey says, I’m really devastated about it, after canceling two more Christmas concerts due to the flu

Carey stated, “Unfortunately I’m still sick,” and announced that she would be postponing her performances in Belmont, New York, and Newark, New Jersey.

After contracting the illness, Mariah Carey was forced to postpone two more of her holiday performances.

The 55-year-old singer of “All I Want for Christmas Is You” informed fans on Friday, December 13, that she was still not feeling well and would not be performing at her Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time events at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and Belmont Park in New York’s UBS Arena as scheduled.

“Newark and Belmont — I wish I had better news but unfortunately I’m still sick and have to cancel the shows tonight [Dec. 13] and on Sunday,” the performer wrote on X, its old name as Twitter.

“I sincerely appreciate your support and am truly upset by it. MC, love,” she continued.

On Tuesday, December 17, Carey will play her final gig of the tour in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. As of now, she has not stated whether or not that will be canceled.
The post was made two days after Carey called off her performance at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena only hours before it was supposed to happen.

“I regret to inform you, Pittsburgh, that I have contracted the flu. I regret to inform you that I must postpone tonight’s performance. On Wednesday, December 11, she posted on X, “I love you all so much.”
