Late motherhood has become more and more common, and at 48, Hollywood star Hilary Swank has announced that she’ll become a parent for the very first time.
The actress is beyond excited that she and her husband will be entering this new phase of their life. She made an announcement in the sweetest way, informing us that they will soon become a family of 4, and we couldn’t be any happier for this lovely couple.
She wanted to become a mom for a long time.The actress and her husband, social venture entrepreneur Philip Schneider, whom she calls “the man of my dreams,” met on a blind date and walked down the aisle a few years later in 2018. Their chemistry had been almost immediate on that first date, as she explained, “We met at 10:00 a.m. and parted ways at 11:00 p.m.”
And 4 years after tying the knot, Hilary announced on a TV show that she was going to become the mom of “not just of one, but of two.” Speaking of motherhood, she said, “This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time.” She furthermore explained that twins run in her and her husband’s families.
She is now in her second trimester.Hilary couldn’t hide her joy about the next phase of her life as she made the announcement on live TV. She admitted, “It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable.”
Being in the middle part of her pregnancy, she revealed that recently her clothes started not to fit. She added, “so I had to, the other day… cut [my jeans] open.”
