The 39-year-old singer of “Woman’s World” went all out for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

Perry continued her edgy, skin-baring style streak on September 11 when she bravely showed out to the UBS Arena red carpet in New York.

She looked deconstructed in a floor-length skirt and one-shoulder bra top by Who Decides War, both of which seemed like they were draped in wet yarn and paper mâché. Her abs were literally shining in the spotlight.

The skirt alone is worth a second because it was taken off and reveals the temporary QR code tattooed on Perry’s back. The tattoo links to a pre-order page for Perry’s new studio album, 143, which will be available on September 20. A black metal arm cuff, on the other hand, completed the futuristic look on her arm.

Perry’s black hair, fashioned in glossy gelled curls, added to the whole “wet” vibe, which is to say highly glossy and super elegant.

Orlando Bloom wore a monochrome matte suit for the evening and was there with his fiancée.In addition to doing a performance during the event, Perry will also take the stage to accept this year’s Video Vanguard Award.
