Blonde, good-by! Miley Cyrus debuts dark brunette hair 10 years later
Miley Cyrus unveiled her dark brown hair after being a blonde for over a decade. Learn more about the singer’s new brunette style!
I used to be… blonde! Miley Cyrus debuted her new dark hair after having lighter locks for over a decade.
“Congratulations on your stunning debut presentation as design director [for Gucci], [Sabato De Sarno]. Every stitch revealed your beautiful heart. I adore you and am so proud of you.
Now give me everything,” the 30-year-old “Flowers” singer posted on Instagram on September 24. She posted three images of herself wearing the famed brand’s huge black coat, diamond necklace, and red purse.
Fans filled the comments section, praising her new style. “Miley being brunette again!!!” remarked one fan, while another added, “I feel like I’m in 2008 again.” “OMG you are totally brown again,” another person exclaimed. I’ve been looking forward to this moment for about ten years!”
Miley had dark brown hair for years while starring in Hannah Montana on Disney Channel. She began gradually lightening her hair as she moved away from the network and modified her image.
She was platinum blonde by 2012 and has been wearing it ever since. In 2021, she experimented with the two-toned appearance, keeping the blonde colour in her upper layers but dying the bottom of her hair black.
Miley appears to have entered a new era – with her hair and music! Endless Summer Vacation, her eighth studio album, was released in March. In August, she surprised fans by releasing a new single,
“Used to Be Young,” and announced the release of “Backyard Sessions,” live performances from her latest album. She will not, however, go on tour to promote her songs, a decision she made carefully.
“What people don’t realise about touring is that the show is only 90 minutes long, but that’s your life.” “There should be an equal amount of recovery and rest if you’re performing at a certain level of intensity and excellence,” the “Jaded” singer noted in her “Used to Be Young” TikTok series in August.
“When I’m on tour, there’s a level of ego that has to play a part that I feel gets overused.” And once on, it’s difficult to turn off. “I think the hardest switch for me to turn off is when you’re training your ego to be active every single night.”
Touring, according to the Last Song actress, might be a distraction from creating new music.
“Having the relationship between you and other humans being subject and observer every day isn’t healthy for me because it erases my humanity and connection,” she stated. “And without my humanity and connection, I can’t be a songwriter, which is my main priority.”
