Cheers to Romeo! The feud between Victoria and the daughter-in-law is put to an end
The 49-year-old singer and designer attended an Elton John concert in London. Nicola Peltz joins Victoria Beckham
The former lead singer of the Spice Girls spent the evening with loved ones – she came to the performance of the cult British singer, which took place on the stage of the O2 Arena.
Victoria and David Beckham have long-term friendship with Elton John, so they supported the artist as part of his farewell tour.
The couple went out with their children – 24-year-old son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola, 18-year-old son Cruz and 11-year-old daughter Harper posed for a photo with them.
The 28-year-old American actress proved that the “feud” with the star mother-in-law is over by appearing on a family frame with a smile. Victoria, in turn, demonstrated the unity of her clan by refuting rumors of a quarrel with her daughter-in-law.
Nicola and Brooklyn returned to the UK from the US to show respect to the guy’s godfather. Victoria and David looked pleased with the family reunion, with only the couple’s 20-year-old son Romeo missing from the footage.
“Together again! I love you all so much – David, Brooklyn, Cruz, Nicola, Harper. We miss you Romeo. We love you Elton John,” Beckham said.
The star of the film “The Last Airbender” was one of the first to react to the words of her mother-in-law by putting emoji in the form of hearts.
Victoria also appeared in the company of her daughter and daughter-in-law backstage, she joked that the “successful” photo was taken against the backdrop of a sign indicating the toilet. “Gorgeous,” the fashion designer laughed.
Rumors of a falling out between the actress and the designer emerged after Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding in Florida last April. Peltz said that these conversations began because she did not wear a wedding dress from the fashion house of Victoria.
“No family is perfect. I keep seeing this word everywhere: enmity, enmity… This is not enmity!” the girl assured. The young couple tried to stem the tide of negativity by attending a Victoria fashion show in Paris in March.
Beckham also released a touching video of how the footballer, along with her daughter, enthusiastically sings along with falsetto to the artist during the performance of his 1972 hit “Crocodile Rock”.
The 76-year-old singer, by the way, said that this is the last tour. Elton’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” show will end in Stockholm, Sweden on July 8th. “I won’t go on tour again. I’m looking forward to some freedom.
Touring is now exhausting me, and it tears me away from my family and my children, ”the artist is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying.
The pop legend’s tour has already become the highest-grossing tour in history, earning £678 million to date. At the same time, the singer specified that from time to time he would perform at major events – for example, he became the headliner at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
