In a recently released interview for The Hollywood Reporter, Maria actress and writer/director Without Blood, 49, made few remarks about her personal life. She mentioned her family and her ongoing divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt.

As the actress Marcheline Bertrand’s and actor Jon Voight’s daughter, Jolie “grew up in” Los Angeles, but she informed the source that she is only here “because I have to be here from a divorce.”

She said, speaking of her and Pitt’s two youngest children, the 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, “But as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave.”

The Oscar winner continued by expressing her wish for “privacy” for her “big family,” which consists of her four older children, Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18.

“When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety,” Jolie stated. “I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”

The celebrity declared that she would “spend a lot of time in Cambodia,” where she adopted her son, after leaving Los Angeles.
