Gaga shares new Instagram selfies where she doesn’t look like herself
Lady Gaga shared the excitement of opening night in Las Vegas on Thursday with her followers on social media.
The 37-year-old singer posted before and after photos on Instagram for her roughly 56 million follower as she rebooted her Jazz & Piano residency at the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas.
She was in full makeup including bright red lipstick while holding up a yellow and black Playbill for the show with her on the cover in a black-and-white photo.
‘IT’S OUR OPENING SHOW IN VEGAS BABY 1 hr 16 min till we hit the stage to SWING,’ Gaga wrote in the caption along with heart and trumpet emojis.
She later posted after the show wearing a tuxedo top and captioned it: ‘THATS ALL FOLKS’.
The 13-time Grammy winner last month announced that her show was returning for 12 concerts between August 31 and October 5.
She first launched the residency in January 2019 following her Enigma shows that opened in December 2018.
The Jazz & Piano residency was critically acclaimed and was the highest grossing Las Vegas Valley concert residency of 2019.
She takes the stage shortly after her close friend and jazz collaborator Tony Bennett died on July 21 at age 96 in New York City.
Gaga recently posted a tender tribute to celebrate his August 3 birthday on Instagram.
‘I will miss my friend forever. I will miss singing with him, recording with him, talking with him, being on stage together,’ she wrote along with a photo of Tony giving her a warm hug. ‘With Tony, I got to live my life in a time warp.

Tony & I had this magical power. We transported ourselves to another era, modernized the music together, & gave it all new life as a singing duo. But it wasn’t an act. Our relationship was very real.’
They performed together in August 2021 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and together recorded the jazz albums Cheek to Cheek released in 2014 and Love for Sale released in 2021.
