I was nervous in this dress! Hadid talks about a red carpet look she’s ashamed of
American supermodel Bella Hadid, in an interview with Vogue on August 11, discussed her iconic images and told which of them she is still ashamed of.
In particular, Hadid noted that she felt awkward in a red satin dress with a high slit and an open back from Alexandre Vauthier. Bella posed in this outfit at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016.
“I was nervous in that dress, looking really sеxy and all that. I was still nervous about the cameras and the amount of makeup and that cut. I’m still ashamed of that moment, even though the dress is gorgeous – it just doesn’t look like me.”
That’s when Belinda, my alter ego, appeared. But I’m her complete opposite,” said the model.
The 74th Cannes Film Festival took place from July 6 to 17 on the French Cote d’Azur. This is the first such large event since the beginning of the pandemic, which brought together many world celebrities.
Bella Hadid was born on October 9, 1996 in Los Angeles in the family of TV presenter and former model Yolanda Hadid and Palestinian-American multimillionaire Mohamed Hadid.
In 2014, she signed her first modeling contract. Two years later, she won the “Model of the Year” nomination at the First Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards,
was recognized as the 2016 Model of the Year by more than 250 fashion experts on the influential Models.com portal, and was also included in the list of the top 50 models in the world.
Bella was ranked ninth on Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid models in 2017. The model’s income was $6 million.
