I’ve given up on pink! Margot in offtheshoulder dress

The 33-year-old actress presented the film “Barbie” in Los Angeles. Margot Robbie replicated the iconic 1960 doll outfit.

The star entered the finish line of her intense tour in support of the tape. For the California premiere, Margo ditched the all shades of pink she’s been wearing for the past few weeks. On the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in downtown Los Angeles,

she shone in a fitted, custom-made black dress by Schiaparelli. The off-the-shoulder, strapless model was made from a fabric embroidered with thousands of sequins, with a stiff tulle peplum and red rose embellishments.

Stylist Andrew Mukamal and designer Daniel Roseberry paired it with long opera gloves, diamond stud earrings, a shimmering four-strand diamond necklace by Lorraine Schwartz and an open-toed Manolo Blahnik mule.

Hairdresser Bryce Scarlett pulled the actress’s hair into a high ponytail, slightly twisting the ends. Makeup artist Pati Dubroff ditched the eyeshadow, instead highlighting Robbie’s eyebrows, applying blush to her cheekbones and wearing bright red lipstick.

The star’s outfit was a complete copy of the iconic Barbie doll called “Solo in the Spotlight”, released in 1960. Margot was holding a pink handkerchief, the same as in the original. The actress not only played a major role, but also acted as a producer of Barbie.

She earned $12.5 million for the film directed by Greta Gerwig. The budget for the film about the famous Mattel doll was $100 million, according to the Daily Mail.

Margo posed in front of a pink Chevrolet Corvette, exactly the same as the one she drives in the film. The artist’s husband, producer Tom Ackerley, with whom she has been married for six years, this time did not keep her company on the red carpet.

But she was supported by project partner Ryan Gosling, who got the role of Ken.

Barbie opens in US and UK theaters on July 21st. The role of Ken went to the film also involved John Cena, Rhea Perlman, Emerald Fennell and others. Dua Lipa composed the soundtrack for “Dance The Night”.

By the way, she also came to the premiere, and made an even bigger sensation than Margot. Dua took to the track in a completely transparent chain mail dress from Lorenzo Posocco. The star refused a bra, she was wearing only white tango panties.
