Kaley Cuoco claims that because her dog constantly fighting with her fiancé’s pet, she had to make the hard decision of finding it a new home
After revealing the reasons behind her “excruciating decision” to rehome her dog, Kaley Cuoco has drawn criticism on social media
On Monday, November 25, the 38-year-old, who is most known for playing Penny on The Big Bang Theory, opened up on Instagram about her dog Shirley, who passed away from cancer not long ago.
Cuoco stated in the Instagram Reel, “As most of you are aware, I had [Shirley] for a very long time.”
“You kind of stopped seeing her all of a sudden, and I started getting a lot of questions about where she was because I’ve had a dog since she was six weeks old, and it’s very unlike me to just stop posting about her.”
“Long story short, she’s a very special dog to me, as you all know,” she said, continuing to compliment the puppy.
According to the Flight Attendant actress, Shirley couldn’t get along with her fiancé Tom Pelphrey’s dog.
She continued, “And when the love of my life, Tom, who is also a huge dog lover, moved across the country with his gorgeous German Shepherd, Blue, a couple years ago, unfortunately, Blue and Shirley started getting into some mega fights.”
She disclosed that Shirley would fight with most dogs, with the exception of her other dog Norman, and that the bouts were “scary” to the extent that Shirley seemed “determined to kill Blue.”
