Kaley Cuoco believes that all couples should be in couple’s therapy.
On the Nov. 25 edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 38-year-old former Big Bang Theory star talked about her life as a mother to their daughter, Matilda, and said that she and her fiancé Tom Pelphrey visit a therapist together.
Regarding raising the toddler, Cuoco told presenter Jimmy Fallon, “It’s a wild ride, Jimmy.” It’s an adventure, after all. 19 months old. There is a lot.
Before speaking directly to the audience, the actress stated, “I was trying to explain to our couple’s therapist the other day why I’m so tired.” “Just so you know, you should all be in couples therapy.”
“Taking care of a 19-month-old is like taking care of your drunk best friend every day,” the actress claimed to have told their therapist.
When they don’t get what they want, they cry. “You’re cleaning their vomit from whatever it is, or you’re making sure they get to the bathroom,” she clarified. “And they’re crazy, and you’re constantly watching out for their survival.”
“And then they black out, and you’re like, ready to die,” Cuoco went on, “and they wake up and go, ‘What’s for breakfast?'” And you ask yourself, “What?” “Do you even know what happened last night?” I ask you.
