The epitome of a beach hottie! Kate Bosworth’s biкini images show that she was born to be on the beach and in the sun.

More than 20 years after playing Anne Marie Chadwick in Blue Crush, the actress collaborated with surfing brand ROXY on a collection commemorating the 2002 film.

“I had never touched a surfboard before I auditioned for that movie,” she told Vogue in May 2023, announcing the bathing suit cooperation. “But I felt a strong connection to the character because we were going through a lot of the same things.” “I completely transformed into someone else.”

When it came to the collection’s inspiration, the Along for the Ride actress had a few ideas.

“The idea was in the zeitgeist with the movie’s 20th anniversary, but I also turned 40 last year, so there was this milestone,” Kate said. “My character in the movie struggles with self-doubt, vulnerability, and fear, and I felt like I had finally come full circle with all of those things and was finally able to find this centred alignment in myself.”

Even when she’s not posing for images in the ROXY collection’s colourful biкinis, coverups, and even sweaters, Kate can’t stay away from the beach.

“Some summer moments,” the actress captioned a set of Instagram photographs from September 2022 that showed her enjoying herself at the beach. “Remaining fit, happy, and healthy.”

While she is no longer Anne Marie Chadwick, it is clear that Kate’s love of the sun and surf has not faded. In fact, she’s hinted at a future sequel to Blue Crush. Who wouldn’t want to see her on a board again?!

“That’s an excellent question. I have some guesses [about Anne Marie’s current whereabouts]. It’s amusing. “Michelle [Rodriguez], Sanoe [Lake], and I always talk about how badly we want to do another film,” she told Vulture in August 2022.

“So, I’m sure we’ll be pontificating about that for a while, and perhaps we’ll see it come to fruition.” “A sequel to the original.”
