Child star Lindsay Lohan has reportedly reached out to Britney Spears after fans pleaded with the My Perrogative singer to stop posting nude photos of herself
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been advising Britney Spears after the singer shared a spate of nude photos.
Fans pleaded with the My Prerogative star, 40, to stop posting the revealing pictures, saying they were concerned for Britney’s welfare.
Hollywood actress Lindsay, 36, has dealt with her own demons under the spotlight and is now said to have reached out to her pal, after turning her own life around.
“It’s made her so sad to see the stress and pain that Britney has been through,” a source claimed.
“She [Lindsay] can relate to her situation and now she wants to help her [Britney].
“She’s been offering her advice and telling her to have the courage to change her toxic surroundings.
“Lindsay’s making she’s always there if Britney needs to talk”, reports Heat magazine.
However, when the Mirror contacted Lindsay’s reps, they said the actress had not reached out to the singer.
Britney’s fans were stunned after the star shared more than 10 naked photos in an hour in July.
The Oops!… I Did It Again singer had flown into London and immediately stripped down to her thong in her hotel room..
In some of the snaps she lay face down as she gazed at the camera, while in others she covered her breasts with her hands.
Last month the star posed nude for another nude pic on Instagram, covering herself with nothing but flower emojis.
“Girl STOP,” said one follower in the post’s comment section.
While another added: “Just stop already. You are not helping yourself.”
Britney’s upload came less than a week after sparking concern amongst fans after posing naked on her bed in a new post suggesting an X-rated video is coming ‘this week’.
Worrying her followers, she captioned the image: “I have a premiere for a movie this week ‘The Legislative Act of My P***y’.
The announcement was posted alongside a sped-up a video which Britney captioned: “Thought I had good hair today.”
Britney’s behaviour has alarmed fans since she was released from her restrictive conservatorship last year in which her father Jamie had control of much of her life.
Following her very public breakdown in 2007, the mum-of-two’s affairs were controlled by her father, including, she claimed, taking medication against her will and using contraception.
Lindsay, meanwhile, has turned her life around since her big move to the United Arab Emirates in 2014.
In a video interview with Vogue earlier this year, the 36-year-old actress revealed that moving to Dubai instilled a “certain sense of calm” in her.
The actress was in the papers for all the wrong reasons at one time after describing herself as an “addict” in 2014.
However, the Freaky Friday star now appears to be in a better place – hopefully Britney can join her there.
