Madonna’s son, David Banda, has said that he lives a low life in New York City, providing guitar lessons and’scavenging’ for food due to a lack of funds.
The 18-year-old artist, who is dating rising model Maria Atuesta, 21, has moved out of his mother’s house and currently resides in The Bronx.
According to The Sun, when asked about the advantages and disadvantages of living alone, Banda stated, “I love it.” I’m not on my own; I have a girlfriend. But I love it.
He went on to say, ‘It’s nice to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry, understanding I don’t have enough money to acquire food, and scavenging. It’s fun to be young.
To supplement his income, David primarily teaches guitar online, and potential students can book lessons through his primary Instagram page, which presently has roughly 52k followers.
The guitarist most memorably joined the Material Girl hitmaker, who is worth over $600 million, on her Celebration Tour, which concluded in May with a free concert in Rio de Janeiro.
He was known for accompanying his mother on stage to play the guitar in front of live audiences while Madonna sang lyrics to famous songs. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2022, the singer raved about David.
