The Songbird Supreme, 55, is currently in the midst of her ongoing Celebration of Mimi residency at Dolby Live in Las Vegas, and a recent fan-shot Instagram video of her performing “Fantasy” has fans wanting to make sure she’s all right.
In the clip, Carey sports a pink bodysuit with a sheer skirt and matching chunky heels as sings the 1995 hit and walks slowly across the stage, stopping to interact with dancers — who are performing with a bit more energy than she is.
It’s unclear if the Grammy winner is struggling to keep up with the rest of the stage production or simply ultra-focused on her vocal performance, as she didn’t miss any lyrics in the song and kept a smile on her face throughout.
Some viewers, however, were left feeling concerned about Carey’s wellbeing. “She moves around like she’s an elderly woman,” wrote one Instagram user in the comments section.
