Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin love nothing more than a day at the lake. The couple enjoys soaking up the sun on a boat, whether at home in Tennessee or on the road.
Brendan and Miranda cozied up for a sunny day in Lake Tahoe in July of that year, after quietly marrying in January 2019.
“Lake Tahoe,” the “Tin Man” singer captioned a series of Instagram photos at the time. “A great show and a few really cool days off!” she continued, adding the hashtags “lake life” and “road family” to her description.
Miranda and her former NYPD officer husband decided to hit the road in May 2020, after months of social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“When people ask me about all of my traveling, my answer is pretty much the same every time: ‘I’ve been everywhere but I haven’t seen much of anything,'” the “Kerosene” songstress wrote in an Instagram caption at the time.
She accompanied this revelation with a photo of the couple posing in front of their new Airstream Globetrotter, dubbed “The Sheriff.”
“After being at home for the last few months,” she added. “I had an epiphany… Because I can’t travel and play shows, that doesn’t mean I can’t travel and make music.”
Their trip was cut short after visiting East Coast destinations such as Asheville, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina, when their Airstream was hit by a hit-and-run driver.
“We fishtailed pretty well, but got on the shoulder as soon as we could to assess the damage,” she wrote on Instagram in February 2021. “Thank the good Lord, no one was hurt.”
The couple, who met in November 2018 when she appeared on Good Morning America and he was stationed in Times Square, recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary in the tropics.
“Spent a few days in the sun with my sunshine,” the Texas native wrote in February 2022 on Instagram.
In July 2022, the couple spent several weeks touring the American West, visiting breathtaking locations in Utah, Montana, and Wyoming.
Miranda and Brendan went river rafting, lake boating, and other activities where she could wear her favorite bikiոi top and Daisy Duke denim shorts.
Whether they’re visiting different lakes across the country on road trips or celebrating their anniversary in tropical destinations, the Idyllwind founder loves to rock a bikiոi – and she looks great doing it!
