Pamela Anderson says makeup doesn’t really make sense for her while rocking a bare face

When Pamela Anderson attended the Gotham Awards, she was radiant.
The 57-year-old former Baywatch star wore a strapless butter yellow gown with a big bow at the back when she attended the 2024 Gotham Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday, December 2. She wore her hair long and loose, wore no makeup, and accessorized with diamond studs.
Although she now frequently chooses to live a makeup-free life off-screen, Anderson, who is nominated for her role in The Last Showgirl, talked exclusively to PEOPLE about what it was like to wear makeup for the movie.
As she walked the red carpet, she told PEOPLE, “I mean — I wear — I love to wear makeup too sometimes,” adding that cosmetics has its place and time. It simply didn’t seem to make sense in my personal life.
According to her, beauty is primarily determined by one’s inner qualities.
