Ruth Gibbins, Liam Payne’s sister, offers an emotional remembrance following his passing! I apologize for not saving you

Following his death at age 31, the musician’s sibling wrote, “I’d drive to the end of the universe to bring you back.”

For the first time since the singer’s passing, Ruth Gibbins, Liam Payne’s sister, is coming out.

After Payne passed away three days earlier at the age of 31, Gibbins paid tribute to him in a sorrowful Instagram post on Saturday, October 19.

“I don’t think this is taking place. No one could ever make me laugh as much as Liam, my best friend. His imitation always made me cringe, and he enjoyed watching how much laughter he could elicit,” she started.

Gibbins went on to say that Payne “moved out when he was 17 to chase his dreams” and that she would frequently travel to see him while he was competing on The X Factor, a talent competition in the United Kingdom where he was a contestant before joining One Direction.

Her sibling “knew he could call me anytime,” she added, adding that “Liam loved 1D” and referred to his bandmates as “his brothers.” The two would frequently end up “laughing … [and] talking through his plans and working through his issues.”Gibbins said, speaking to her late brother,

“Liam, I don’t understand where you’ve gone, and my brain is having a hard time keeping up with what’s happening.” “All I want to do is drive to your house, enter while the music is blaring, and see you sitting there.”
