Ryan and Eva share a small apartment with two children, cook and clean on their own, and do not have a babysitter.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes defy all unwritten rules when they’re together. The famous couple could live a life of luxury and indulgence, but they prefer to raise their daughters in a simple and hardworking manner.

Ryan and Eva share household responsibilities, live in a small apartment, and do not even have a babysitter. We’ll explain why they chose this way of life and how they keep the family nest peaceful and orderly.
They live in a two-bedroom house.
Ryan and Eva are A-list celebrities, but they lead very ordinary lives. They have two daughters, but not in a large mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Instead, they live in a two-bedroom apartment.

The actors want to give their children a normal childhood, so they keep their lives hidden from prying eyes and spend a lot of time away from town. They can walk their children there without drawing too much unwanted attention.
They do not have a nanny.
Esmeralda, their oldest daughter, is eight years old, and Amanda is six. On principle, Gosling and Mendes do not want a babysitter, which is unheard of in Hollywood.

The actors raise their own children. When they need assistance, they simply ask Eva’s older relatives.
Eva and Ryan are the ideal couple because they are both hands-on in the home. She enjoys cooking, and he enjoys cleaning. Mendes describes herself as a “kitchen freak.”
Her love of cleaning evolved into a business venture. Eva became a co-owner of an anti-germ cleaning sponge company.

Mendes enjoys washing dishes and cleaning the sink. It’s a form of therapy for her. “Life is so chaotic,” she says. But the one thing I have control over is my home, specifically my kitchen.
So doing the dishes is meditative for me. It is much more than just cleaning up. It really helps me to see things clearly. For me, a clean sink equals a clear mind.”
They set up a home office for Eva.

Eva must make business calls as a co-owner of a company. She does everything from home. “It’s a shambles!” I have no idea who I will be Zooming with throughout the day.
I’ll see people giggling, and my five-year-old, who just turned six, will be right behind me, holding her blankie and looking adorable.” As a result, the star established some ground rules:
a closed door indicates that mom is working. Her children, however, continue to find “important” reasons to visit Mendes in her home office.
Parenthood takes precedence over their careers.

Ryan Gosling has an acting career that keeps him busy, but he says that first and foremost, he is a father, and only then is he an actor. Eva took a break from acting to focus on what she considers to be the most creative thing in the world: motherhood.
Before the age of nine, the actress was surrounded by her mother’s love, and these years helped shape her as a person. Mendes is considering returning to the world of filmmaking,
but her expectations for future projects have shifted. “I’m not looking to do anything violent.”

They do not send their children to school.
Gosling and Mendes decided to homeschool their children. Eva initially attempted to teach her daughters herself, but she quickly abandoned the idea. The girls now have a tutor who teaches them at home and on field trips.
“We travel a lot, and we’re fortunate to have someone with us who can continue their education at this point, so we try to incorporate the city we’re in as much as possible.”
