The pop star, who is expecting her and boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s second child, celebrated her big 3-5 on Feb. 20 in style. Rihanna stepped out for a special dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., wearing a plunging white mini dress with a matching see-through bra.
She accessorized with a long black coat, sparkly heels, and a furry handbag.
As usual, the singer sparkled like a diamond while wearing diamond jewelry, including a chunky chain bracelet and a large cocktail ring on her left middle finger.
The birthday party comes just a week after Rihanna announced her pregnancy during her epic halftime show at the 2023 Super Bowl.
While she didn’t scream the news from the top of her floating platform, she did let her baby bump—which she debuted in a skin-tight red ensemble—do the talking.
Rihanna’s unborn child will join her and Rocky’s 9-month-old son, the name of whom they have not revealed publicly.
Rihanna defended her decision to keep her son out of the spotlight in her latest cover story for British Vogue, which was accompanied by photos of him.
“As parents, we get to decide when and how we do that,” she explained. “Put me to the wolves. You can do whatever you want with me. But he has no say in any of this.
We’ve been protecting him so far, and you don’t have my permission to post or sell photos of my minor child. With that, get the hell out of here.”
That is not to say that Rihanna will not occasionally share glimpses of their family life. “We’re best friends with a baby,” she explained to the publication.
“We need to be on the same page, but that’s something we’ve always had in our relationship. When you have a baby, everything changes, but I wouldn’t say it has done anything but bring us closer.”
