Cameron Diaz’s return to the set makes us pleased for some reason.
The Avaline businesswoman was pictured on set with co-star Jamie Foxx for the upcoming Netflix thriller Back in Action.
In the photo, the two looked smart, with the Ray actor dressed in a sleek classic black tuxedo. The Charlie’s Angels star looked stunning in a black blazer and matching slacks.
Jamie detailed in an August interview with E! News how he encouraged Cameron to come out of retirement and return to the show.
“We just begged and pleased on my knees, like, ‘Just give the people one more time,'” he told E! News’ Daily Pop exclusively. “We love her; we’ve been waiting for her, and this is going to be fantastic.”
Jamie and Cameron previously co-starred in the 2014 adaptation of Annie, which was The Holiday actress’ final picture before retiring.
Jamie first revealed the project in June, when he tweeted a phone chat between himself, the actress, and Tom Brady.
“Cameron I hope it’s okay with you that I taped this, but there’s no turning back now.
“We had to summon the GOAT to get another GOAT.””Thanks to our new film with @NetflixFilm, @CameronDiaz and I are BACK IN ACTION,” Jamie tweeted. The production will start later this year!!”
During the call, the NFL quarterback intervened to provide her with guidance as someone who has been “relatively successful at un-retiring.” “To be honest,” Cameron jokingly said at the moment. “You’re just what I needed.”
