The Reason Prince Harry Isn’t Bringing Wife Meghan Markle Back to the United Kingdom
Prince Harry explained that he hasn’t brought his wife Meghan Markle back to the UK in recent years out of worry for her safety.
Meghan Markle’s safety is not a danger that Prince Harry will spare. For this reason, the Duke of Sussex is hesitant to return to the UK with his six-year-old son Archie Harrison and his three-year-old daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana.
(Meghan has only made a few trips to the United Kingdom since she and Harry moved here in 2020; her most recent visit was for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.)
During a recent ITV interview, Harry stated, “It’s still dangerous and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read.” Harry was referring to the British tabloids’ coverage of the marriage.
And whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, these are things that genuinely worry me,” he went on.
