Sam Smith ensured all eyes were on them as they took to the stage at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard at The O2 Arena in London on Saturday.
The singer, 30, performed some of their biggest hits during the show and entertained the crowd in a silver jumpsuit.
The sparkling outfit featured a low neckline and sequinned detail while Sam also sported a matching belt.The hitmaker also wore a pair of black boots during the show along with a silver diamond necklace.
Sam arrived to the star-studded event in a long black coat with faux fur trimming on the hemline.
Ahead of their performance, Sam chatted backstage with Capital FM host Sian Welby who turned heads in a fuchsia blazer and matching trousers.
Hitting the stage with their biggest hits on Saturday were Sam, Coldplay, Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, KSI, Mimi Webb, Sigala, Nathan Dawe and MistaJam & Friends ft LF System, Eliza Rose and Belters Only.
On Sunday night, Stormzy, Dua Lipa, Aitch, Becky Hill, Tiësto, George Ezra, Joel Corry, MistaJam & Friends ft LF System, Eliza Rose and Belters Only will perform for the festive concert-goers.
Capital listeners missed out on a Coldplay performance last year after they were forced to withdraw from last year’s Jingle Bell Ball after one of their team tested posisitve for Covid-19.
Tom Grennan was drafted in at the last minute to replace the multi-award-winning global superstars last year.
Lewis Capaldi will make his highly anticipated debut at a Capital Ball after a stratospheric rise to fame over the past year, with over 25 billion global streams.
Speaking to Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp, Sian Welby, Chris Stark and Sonny Jay about playing the Ball, Stormzy said ahead of his performance on Sunday: ‘I’m really excited.
