After Kate Middleton commented, it always fills me with horror, Prince William returned to a hobby he had abandoned years before

On November 14, while in Northern Ireland, the Prince of Wales got on a motorcycle, albeit a stationary one, after he stopped riding because it made his wife “frightened.”

Prince William had the opportunity to briefly engage in a pastime he had given up years prior while in Northern Ireland.

When the 42-year-old Prince of Wales visited Ulster University’s Belfast City Campus’ Virtual Production Studio on November 14, he got on a motorcycle and rode across what appeared to be the Arizona desert.According to Hello!, the future king exclaimed, “Any excuse to get on a motorbike?”

He questioned whether it could be moved from its fixed position, saying, “I feel like someone needs to take this for a real spin.”

William continued, “I love that exhaust,” as he got off the motorcycle, and went on to describe the virtual experience as “incredibly realistic.”

When Prince William was younger, he thought of riding motorcycles as a passion. However, in 2015, his wife Kate Middleton acknowledged that her husband’s pastime was concerning.

She remarked, “He’s still riding it,” when in Dundee, Scotland. Every time he goes out on it, I’m filled with terror.

I’m afraid. “Hopefully, I’m going to keep George off of it,” she said, alluding to Prince George, their oldest child, who would turn two that year.

William claimed to have given up the pastime three years later, in 2018, while on a trip to the Isle of Man.
