Tater T.is a dog who has lost both his legs due to cancer, but he manages to go around. He’s a rambunctious puppy who enjoys going on adventures with his owner, Tom Kissel.
The accident took place on the Allegheny River during a recent boating expedition. The maan was fishing when the boat was unexpectedly slammed by a wave, causing him to lose awareness and fall overboard.
Tater, fortunately, was on board with him at the moment. Even his lost limb did not deter him from assisting his owner then saw him fall into the water. He dived into the river with haste and began feverishly rowing. His quick acts aided in his owner’s survival. A neighboring boater, Mary, who was parking her boat with her hubby, spotted the untidy dog. Then they discovered the senior man was submerged.
Fortunately, Mary was a heart nurse, and it was her mission to save people’s lives. When the other boaters pulled Tom out of the water, Mary performed CPR on him until the physicians arrived.
The physicians arrived with a sophisticated generator, which they used to restore the man’s heartbeat. They then took him to thehospital, where he got more treatment. When Tom awoke, he had no recollection of anything that had happened during the episode. He just stated that the guy and his devoted dog changed his life.
