Anthony Hopkins, 86, plays piano in festive Christmas video! Tis the season to be Jolly
The Oscar winner joked he is free to perform at “weddings, birthdays, and special occasions” in his Christmas Day Instagram post.

Anthony Hopkins is spreading Christmas cheer from his piano.
On Wednesday, Dec. 25, the Oscar winner, who turns 87 this month, shared a video of himself playing the piano on Instagram in celebration of Christmas Day.

“‘Tis the season to be jolly. Available for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions… FOR FUN AND FOR FREE,” he wrote in a caption to the video.
Hopkins, known best for his role as the serial killer Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, posts updates on Instagram, where he can be seen dancing, working on his own musical compositions and spending time with friends and colleagues, like Ian McKellen.

Prior to his Christmas post, he shared a video of himself enjoying the chilly weather in England on Dec. 8.
“Hello everyone. Good to be back here in jolly old England in this time of the year, the magic time of life. Autumn is over,”‘ he said, as he recited a poem about the changing of the seasons. “Home sweet home for the holidays,” Hopkins added in a caption.
