Blake Shelton reveals his one Thanksgiving rule—and what he and Gwen Stefani do with their leftovers
The “Texas” singer admits to going “all out” with Stefani and their family for the impending holiday. There’s plenty of holiday cheer in the Shelton-Stefani household.

“I have already bought my turkey. I stored two turkeys in case there is a scarcity for any reason. Blake Shelton — whose recent single “Texas” became the most-added new song on country radio after its release — tells PEOPLE exclusively about celebrating the impending holiday with wife Gwen Stefani.
Over the years, the couple has traveled to Oklahoma with their extended family for a Thanksgiving celebration.

“We go all out on Thanksgiving. We have a large family, so we feel comfortable making a lot of food. Normally, it’s like, ‘Oh damn, we’re already out of stuffing?
“How is that possible?” wonders Shelton, 48. “We’re excited about it.” While meeting loved ones under one roof can be chaotic, the country superstar insists on one rule: “Never say no to any type of food.” Whatever you wish, I will try it. “Just bring it on.”

Even though there is rarely any food left over at the end of the night, Shelton says he and Stefani are inventive when it comes to recycling their side dishes.
